I think if the Raps can swing a trade for Pau or a Utah big they can begin to form a Brooklyn type team with solid players/low level allstars at each position and can be a 2nd round playoff team and darkhorse ECF team.

Let me guess you think the Pistons won the trade. So by your though process the Raptors pretty much match the rest of the NBA fan bases here on PSD.

Prince will help the Grizz on the perimeter and with his vet leadership for the short term...

technically the Pistons because they got rid of contracts and got a good PG in Calderon. But Raptors got the best player, although only a one game sample so far.

Prepare for a long season of disappointment.

Once Prince retires the Grizzlies will be in a better situaton, especially if they get rid of Z-bo.
Pistons can sign someone for max contract after this season (Josh Smith?) and some more.
That's a great argument. But money doesnt mean much to all Toronto fans. if you went into the raps forum you'd see that its divided between fans that think we should work through the draft (ie no BC) and those that want to see a stronger culture built by making the playoffs. We all cheer for the betterment of the franchise but some are definitely more patient and see the numbers behind it. Others (myself included) are more tired of losing and are ready to see some playoff ball sooner than later.

Technically the Raptors did. They got the best player and got rid of their worst defender.

Detroit will have to remove the D at the front their name because their defense is going terrible with Jose, Knight & Singler guarding the perimeter.

Toronto is owned by a billionaire company so the money doesn't mean much. Rudy is the best player in the trade, hence Toronto wins hands down.

Well I know is one game but it took Prince no time to fit in with Memphis he is so freaking smart and a WAY better defender then Gay.

Also great game by Rudy Gay I love it especailly beating the clips.

Maybe just maybe we all won the trade I don't get this raptors fan hating on Memphis.
