Damn I dont get why sixer fans are hating on AI, love this man, however I wouldnt want him here because he's chasing a ring, he should go to a contender that would HOPEFULLY give him a chance.

    Iverson Meeting with 76ers!

No ones hating on AI, unless i missed something....

Dudes 37 and hasnt been relevent as a basketball player since his ridiculous half ***** stint with memphis where he basically just quit and then did the same thing in philly where he came for a farewell lap and not much more.

I'm sure with his help we would of went to the finals that year, forget that he had a daughter struggling for her life.

this is ridiculous...are we going to talk about brining moses malone back since he was a sixer legend? doc?

AI was electric when he was young...that was when he was young...no one wants him on their team based on lack of ability at 37. Love the little guy, but wouldn't love him on the court for the sixers

Yeah. Let it go. Those who want him to come back and play for us are delusional. He'd make no impact on the team at this point and would only be a distraction if anything. And for those thinking that he'd at least reinvigorate the fan base, I'm calling bull. He'd get fans excited for like one or two home games, and then no one would care. It's exactly what happened last time, and if you're forgetting that then you have very selective memory.

Love AI... Thanks but no thanks. Would not want him back on the team at this point. Would happily welcome him into the front office in some sort of ambassador/advisor role, where he doesn't actually do anything, like a World B Free or Julius Erving.

And just because we don't want him to play for us doesn't mean we're hating on him. No one is hating on AI here. We all love him.

Maybe he just wants to retire a sixer. I love that man.

Well that's a different story. I'd be more supportive of his return in that respect. But all indications are that he wants to come back for money, for pride, and to chase a ring on a contender.

I think he's setting up to retire a Sixer and take on a role like 'Special Advisor/Assistant to the GM' type title. Where the reality is he's just around, seen with the FO/Ownership and make occasional media showings.

Baseball does this all the time. See no problem with it in basketball.
DO NOT TRUST YOUR PETS TO NEMACOLIN WOODLANDS KENNEL

On 7/20/14 we took our Calla and Pebble for a stay while on vacation. On 7/21 Calla, who is diabetic, was given 10x her insulin dosage. She wasn't found until 12 hours after being overdosed. After a week and a half of suffering we made the tough decision to put her down because of brain damage and a lack of a quality of life. She was only 7 and her breed lives until their 20's. Over half of our beloved Calla's life was stolen from us.
