I hope Ovi continues to struggle. Kessel gets 2 goals tonight.

I hope so. I traded for Kessel in my fantasy league for David Perron, which I think is a steal.
I need and hope Kessel starts potting some goals and PP points.

    Toronto Gyarados.

@jonasTSN1050: Randy Carlyle called Phil Kessel's 26-minute effort in Buffalo the strongest work ethic game he'd seen from Kessel while coaching the Leafs.

@markhmasters: Caps' Neuvirth v Leafs' Reimer tonight; Ovechkin will start on line w/ Beagle & Crabb; MacArthur (finger) still out

@jonasTSN1050: According to Randy Carlyle, Leafs will not make changes on defence tonight. Mike Komisarek remains out.

@jonasTSN1050: Shoulder strain for Mike Brown. Out a week

@jonasTSN1050: Ryan Hamilton skated on fourth unit with Colton Orr and Dave Steckel. MacArthur's status in doubt.
    Gameday news and notes.

    Neuvirth is 1-2-1 2.96 GAA and a .890 SV%.

    Reimer is 2-1-0 3.05 GAA and a .910 SV% --- Reimer has a career 0-2-1 3.29 GAA and a .902 SV% against Washington.

The Leafs announced on Thursday that Toronto Marlies captain Ryan Hamilton has been recalled while the team has placed forward Mike Brown on IR. Brown left Tuesday’s game against Buffalo with a shoulder injury.

This season, Hamilton has 27 points (18 eight goals, nine assists) in 38 games. Hamilton was named the AHL All-Star Game MVP on Monday after recording a hat-trick. Last season, Hamilton played two games with the Maple Leafs and recorded one assist.

Brown has been held scoreless in five games this season with 29 penalty minutes.

JVR, Kessel, Franson, and Kadri look good right out of the gate.

Although i'm starting to think kessel could shoot at an open net and the air would still find a way to stop him. Nothing going his way right now. At least he is creating chances and momentum
