    Driver retires.

According to Facebook and the packers official Facebook page he has finally hung them up.

Sad day, but it was his time. Thanks so much for being a true Packer from your first day till your last.

    *edit

Donald Driver announced his retirement Thursday morning on ESPN Radio's "Mike and Mike."
Driver was slated to be a free agent this year, but was reportedly leaning toward retirement in early January. He spent 14 seasons in the NFL, all with the Packers, and retires as Green Bay's franchise leader in reception (743) and receiving yards (10.137). The Packers will hold a ceremony for Driver in Green Bay on Feb. 6.

Won't forget that smile. Thanks for all the years. I remember going up to training camp and him staying easily a half hour longer and signing things. No other players stuck around. My nephew got a football signed, it made his week for him.

Haha I'll second this. When the Packers first renovated the field a buddy and mine were in town working and we decided to see if we could score a few autographs.

We go down to the field get a bunch of sweet autographs but we wait until everyone else leaves because my friend and I see 3 vehicles in the lot left, we figure this has got to be someone good.

Sure enough who comes walking out? Ahman Green, who at the time was one of the best in the league, and I am serious when I say this, there was not ONE other person in that lot looking for autographs just my buddy and me and Green says, " Sorry guys, I'm in too much of a hurry." We were like dude it's two signatures! Two AG30 scribbles? How long can that possibly take? 30 seconds?

Anyway that was my vent for the day.

Sooo happy he's actually going to retire with his first and last game played as a Green Bay Packer. That's pretty rare these days and really cool. Thank you for the great play for so many years. A Packers hall of famer and Super Bowl Champion.
