That's not what you wrote, Tmath is no troll, and it was factual that you troll Calderon. Consider yourself lucky all you got was a deleted post.

cause to utilize gasol to his strenghts he would need to be the CEnTER.

and the first option, do you see lowry, derozan and specially gay being cool with that?

    i dont think so.
Wow, if we could just get Gasol we'd have the Memphis Grizzlies 2006-08 core. Whoop! We know how well they did. Gasol, Lowry, and Gay all played together in Memphis.

Gasol doesn't need to play CEnTER? Or are we forgetting that Andrew Bynum actually did play a few games during those championship runs? I think a straight trade with LA is our only real option 3 weeks till the deadline is not enough time to get Bargs back, and healthy, and then hope he doesn't drop whatever trade value he has... Milsap and Smith as one year rentals that can walk away at the end of it all is actually fine with me but why would either team take him on... Same as the suggested 3 team with Minnesota (a trade that is extremely sexy) I don't see why mini trades Williams for Gasol at this point

Just trade bargs for a pick second or late first and amnesty kleiza. Clear 15 mil off the books and sign millsap in the off season.

I'm trying to find a team in the league with the cap space available to take on Bargnani's salary without giving any salary back, but the only team where that really seems possible is Houston. You could possibly look for an expiring contract though to try and flip him for, but that still could be quite the challenge.

Assuming you were able to trade Bargnani without taking salary back and then you amnesty Kleiza, the group of players on the team (Gay, Lowry, Amir, Valanciunas, Ross, Fields, Gray, Lucas, Acy) are still making around 48 million. If the salary cap stays where it is, you still have only about 10 million in cap space and at least 4 roster spots to fill. I'm not sure that will give you enough space to sign Millsap.

Los Angeles is the glaringly obvious spot for him with Gasol coming back but we lost our 2nd valuable piece in the gay trade. options just become very limited.

but hopefully we can use his expiring, if not at least we unloaded Novak's deal...

I think we shouldn't pull the trigger on a deal for Bargnani, move him to the bench and allow him to just be the sixth man on our team where in my opinion he has always thrived. We can get better value later in the off-season from him.

andrew bynum played around 18 minutes per game on the championship years, basically the bulk of the time it was Odom at pf and gasol at center or odom at pf and bynum at center.
The number of minutes with pau at pf and bynum at center was like 5 minutes a game.
Problems for lakers started in 2011 when they tried to have Pau at pf and bynum at C for extneded time.
Pau no longer has athleticism enough to get away with playing pf, on the defensive end at least now tha tleague has gone "small".

we need a backup pg and i would only do this if Smith would agree to resign with us but Millsap would also be a good option and we would still need a back up pg.

Now that Steve blake is back lakers have three pg to back up nash, they could do some cheap trade for Balke , duhon or morris, all of then can get the work done.

Will bynum on pistons is expendable now too.

Yeah, I'm sure the Hawks would be thrilled giving their 2 of their 3 best players away for the pleasure of paying $20 million for mediocre talent.
