What exactly are the suggested parameters of this trade?
One team gets Rudy Gay (+ something else)
Another team gets Ed Davis (+Calderon)
    (Another potential team gets Calderon)

Several league officials tell Y! Sports that Memphis has a plan to route Jose Calderon to a third team for assets in Rudy Gay deal.

There could be chemistry issue, trade rumors every season maybe bothering him. Ownership has been trying to drop his salary for a couple years now, who's to say that is not affecting him.
“It’s about winning,” Stoudemire said. “You win, you’re going to get on national TV. Simple. In Phoenix, we won — Western Conference finals three, four years, playoffs every year. We won. If you don’t win, nobody really wants to see you.”

Fair enough. It is bad and I saw that myself. They run a lot of the same plays in a row at times.

yeah, I have to see the final trade to make a real opinion, but getting rid of Gay's deal is a win for the Grizz anyways, he just hasn't been that good for a couple years, and is getting worse.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

I don't get this deal for TOR. They will now be paying over $25m per for Gay & Fields... think about that for a second. Almost 50% of your cap space tied up on 2 players that really aren't stars, let alone superstars.

A small point, but your percentages are a bit off. Toronto will be targeting spending to just below the lux limit. They have been frugal up to this point due to the sale of MLSE. The new ownership is focused on content for their sports channels and will be buyers in this market.

Either Jose is going to the Pistons or Celtics.

And yet he is signed for another $8 million this year, and $37 million over the next 2 years.
    Well this is encouraging.
