Not to get completely off topic from this game but Sunday vs the Clippers will be a real test to see with how this "new" team without Rondo can play

KG and Pierce's shot attempts are down, everyone else getting the best looks they have all year.

    Rondo, or coincidence?

Forgetting about records, I'd be content if this team could just play team ball the rest of the season... Teams that spiral down start the individual way... Everybody for themselves... They show spurts of team ball and they show spurts of selfish play...

2 quick fouls... I'm sure he gets heavy minutes in the 2nd half...

Highest scoring quarter of the year and highest scoring half of the year. No Rondo? Hows that possible? Team basketball outweighing selfish flashy basketball. ..no way!

Because even though Rondo has a great ability to throw wonderful and creative passes, his overall offensive game is in a straight jacket, and it often results in 5 on 4 defense when teams play the LAL D. Offenses don't have to go thru one guy, every player should be able to throw a decent pass, and a team full of players that can do everything on the floor is better than one with 2 superstars and a bunch of role players.

The fact his on ball D has gone to hell, I may have over estimated him as the 11th PG in the league as of his last game.

6/27/09: “We expect [Rondo] to play by the rules and be a leader as a point guard. We need him to be more of a leader,” Ainge said. “There were just a couple situations where he was late this year, I don’t know if he was sitting in his car, but showed up late and the rest of the team was there. We have team rules and you have to be on time. He was fined for being late, he said he was stuck in traffic, and it’s just unacceptable.”

    Some jerks never learn.....
