Meh. It is a good tool for an overall view, but it does lack in relation to a teams position against the salary cap.

Talk about value per dollar. Seattle's defense is among the cheapest in the league.
The Guardian is a great outlet, and this chart is pretty cool. I'll take this kind of "new media" over slide shows and embedded auto-play video any day.I'm in favor of liberalized immigration because of the effect it would have on restaurants. I'd let everybody in except the English.

I just hope they maintain the thing.
I use Spotrac to find players salaries and cap hits. It works well enough. It provides a bit more info.
This interactive tool is good for a nice quick look at positional groupings.
Unlike, say basketball, where there are 390 players in the league, it makes the tool easy to maintain, the NFL has 1952 players including practice squad players during the season and during pre-season there are 2880 players in the league, if they keep to the 90 man pre-season roster size. A lot of work for someone to maintain.
