WWE: Is ADR Becoming Eddie Guerrero 2.0?

I think one of the brightest spots in the WWE right now has to be the emergence of ADR as a far. It really came out of nowhere and it's working. It seems obvious to me though that they're giving him Eddie Guerrero's character. A guy that doesn't really do any good, but the fans feel a personal connection to him and accept and love his "if you're not cheating, you're not trying persona." ADR has a lot of charisma and can work a decent match, but is not the greatest talker because he is obviously limited in that area. He's also not too believeable as a face, given his character, but him keeping an edge could work.

Is ADR becoming another Eddie Guerrero character? And will it work?

yea, he isn't the greatest talker but he has Ricardo who helps him get over alot so that makes up for it. I hope he has an Eddie type character...i think it'll work.

Pre royal rumble post ADR face turn he never cheated to win. RR was the only time so far ADR "cheated to win" as a face and he didn't cheat it was a last man standing match which is a no DQ match so it's impossible to cheat

ADR hasn't lied yet nor has he stolen anything. I see an Eddie light based off personalities and charisma but to say he's Eddie 2.0 would be to early. He has stated he wants to be a "fighting champion"

If anything so far he's the same type of face wwe typically uses like a Shaemus/cena without the "superhero" character (so far)

Likes fighting, tells jokes some corny some funny

Meh I'll be honest ADR gets alot of cheers only cause of Ricardo since he's such a sympathic and goofy character.

Now I doubt ADR will ever get the heat Eddie got (its that Guerrero heat gene) but he can definitely become a decent babyface by using Ricardo accordingly to get people behind him (like this past Monday when Ricardo gotten beaten up and ADR tried to help).

Let's see how his character develops, I was getting quite bored of his character but being babyface has injected some freshness to him..

Certainly a good point. We'll see how he fares in the upcoming months.
