Specter got more playing time last year than he had since I brought him over from St. Louis but CF Lester Freamon is pushing him back down to the bench. My outfield next season will be RF Chase Thomas, RF Anibal Lerma, Freamon, Howard Colvin, Roger Klotz & RF Luis Perez. With CF Mundungus Fletcher, CF Royce Dale & CF Ryan Oliver sitting ready at AAA, there just wasn't much need for Specter and his expiring contract.

For anyone looking for young, major league ready outfielders, Dale and Oliver are both available.
