More Gasol drama from being benched

The Los Angeles Lakers, riding a rare winning streak, still can't seem to avoid drama. This is LA, after all.

This time forward Pau Gasol expressed his displeasure at being benched in the fourth quarter (again), this time in the Lakers' 111-106 victory Tuesday night against the New Orleans Hornets.
"I'm a competitor, I'm a guy that thinks I bring a lot to the table, and not being on the floor is something that I don't like, I don't appreciate," said Gasol, who previously has complained about being removed by D'Antoni in the fourth quarter.

"It's fun to win but when a team comes back on you the way the Hornets did tonight and you are not there as a high-quality player and as a competitor, it's frustrating," Gasol said, according to ESPN Los Angeles.
"They went small," D'Antoni said. "I couldn't get Pau back in there because of the lineup change."

The dandummy quote confirms his inept coaching approach

He doesn't dictate what happens he just blindly accommodates the other team

That is a recipe for disaster if we ever make the playoffs

I dont blame Gasol. Jamison was letting Anderson tear us apart and mda refused to see that cold hard truth. Finishing the game is what Pau gets paid for and did successfully against OKC. Who cares they went small slow the game down and they cant match yoir size its game over. This guy is truly an idiot. MDA will be the fall of us all.

Come on guys. Pau is kind of right. Dantoni almost lost us the game by keeping jamison in the game. Unless pau is ****ing up real bad he should be in the game.

I really want to see this as our lineup to end games.

    Dwight
    Pau
    Clark
    Kobe
    Nash

Are you kidding me? If Gasol had been out there with the Hornets' small lineup, D'Antoni would have been accommodating them even more. It was smart to have Gasol on the bench. Maybe not smart to have Jamison in, but they would have destroyed Gasol since he's slow. When a team goes small and quick, you can't have Dwight AND Pau in there. It doesn't make sense. I see where D'Antoni is coming from. Plus, we won didn't we?

Pau is just being a cry baby. I can smell his vagina from Minneapolis.

In addition, I honestly don't care who plays if it means we win. Shouldn't you guys (except Pau-***-kissing crooner) feel the same way?
