Arod would like to submit his resume if possible (his representation would like to know if there is a drug test involved before employement).

So we want a right handed bat or someone who can play a position? Pronk is perfect!!!

I guess at this point he probably is the best option left out there

    Gotta agree with Sauron.
Is Hafner the best the Yanks can do? This is getting pathetic. One more reason to nix the DH in the AL.
    Spring training should be interesting.

Bring back Manny R for a Spring tryout. If he kills it, there's your DH. If he sucks, he can join the club.

Well I'm guessing Diaz, Rivera, Canzler are covering that RH bat that can play a position. I hate platooning a bunch of different positions but I guess thats the situation we are in. The team needs someone that can hit righties now that they signed all these guys that can hit only hit lefties.

Good lord, a team with both Hafner and Youk. This should be epic.

He's not ideal, but if he can stay healthy he might be able to contribute some.

You don't need to change your opinion of a player simply because NY got him. I'm not thrilled with the Youk or Ichiro signings. It doesn't mean I don't want them to do well.

Nobody can bash this move yet. Every year the yanks sign scrap heap guys and they do very well. If healthy hafner is a strong fit for cheap.
