How do the Yankees void ARod?

The Yankees are seriously looking at every option on how to get rid of ARod from the Yankees organization.

Can they void the contract? Probably not...

Will they tell him to retire?
I think they will and then use the insurance to cover the $114 million...

If these reports are in fact true Alex will be destroyed in many ways.

I doubt we ever see ARod in a Yankee uniform IMO.

Personally I have no issues with Alex, he helped 2009, in fact he carried the Yankees in Oct 2009....

That is how I will remember ARod as a Yankee....

Arod wouldn't just retire if the Yankees asked him to. I'm sure he'd want to play elsewhere...maybe Miami. Swidt?

    Oh yeah. That will work.

I'm pretty sure you have to retire due to medical reasons to use insurance. If the Yanks tell him to retire and he did, he'd forfeit that money.

I had been a huge Arod supporter through the nastiness of many October campaigns. I do not subscribe to a lot of the hate of his personality quirks and the perception of his narcisissim, however, i do believe he has well worn out his welcome at this point.

We will invariably have to pay him but I think the curtain is closing on his career with this.
