Maybe the streak will never end, but I just think Taker would like to end it as a torch passing, and to finalize it. If the streak never ends, there will always be questions if he is coming back for one more match or not. I think once he decides he is done, he and WWE would like to have a resolution to it so they can move on from it.
My argument will always be that Undertaker will still make him and the company after he retires. What's going to sell more? The Undertaker 22-0 DVD, or the Undertaker 21-1 DVD? T-Shirts. WWE Network. Appearances.

Nothing puts over a wrestler stronger than a clean win. Heel or face. It could be the clean win that cements him as a heel.

That is the wwe though...Every Heel cheats 99.9 percent of the time to win....How many times has Ziggler won clean? Even a cena heel would go that route. That being said it goes back to my original point...Why waste something as big as the streak on a guy like cena? Cena would turn heel on Santino and he would get insane heat because he already gets insane heat and he is the perfect suck up face.

If cena beats him as a face it does nothing

If cena beats him as a heel it still does nothing.... Cena would only need to call the crowd morons one time for people to go insane on him. Using a taker win to further his heel persona would be pointless.

    Ok...I took it wrong lol.

At the end of the day, it's Takers call really. WWE might want to keep it intact for that reason, but if Taker comes out next year and says I will wrestle at WM30, but only if I pick my opponent and drop the streak to him they aren't going to say no. He is an icon and a legend with or without the streak. I just don't think he has any interest in keeping it going once he says he's done. Maybe he will. I would be surprised if he did though.

I bet that Taker wants to lose at Wrestlemania to someone he respects in his last match ever, but the WWE will never allow it to happen.

As Driven expressed, there is just too much money at stake to have Taker lose a match at Mania.

    He will remain forever undefeated.

I think he needs to lose eventually.

It has been stated they have left it up to him if he wants to lose or not. I believe that is the case as well. They have made a ton of money off it as it is and he certainly doesn't need to come back every year to do it if he didn't want to. They respect him and what he has done for the company.

I respectfully disagree Taker should retire with a perfect WM record. OK maybe it wouldn't mean much after he retires but imagine 20 years from now if the WWE is still around. Kids will be asking their parents who was the Undertaker and they will say he was the only guy to go undefeated at WM LOL.
20+ years from now I and others will look back @WMXXX and say remember when Brock Beat The Undertaker? More people will remember his only loss more than those 21 Straight wins.

Unless SCSA comes back, this WM will suck for CM Punk

I think the smart move is put Punk in the match with Cena and Rock and then Have Jericho challenge Taker. I mean that's better then Rock vs cena 2, Punk vs Taker 4 and the rumored Jericho vs Ryback
