Separated shoulder, waiting on severity. Hopefully its not the 6-8 week variety.

The slow start takes its first casualty.

I wish Zooks could come back right now if Torts would play him. I hear he can come back after his KHL season ends.

Per Katie Strang, Callahan out 10-14 days with shoulder subluxation.

Great news...hope it's correct. So he misses 14 days...that's about 13 games, right?

Exactly, it's probably the best news we could have hoped for under the circumstances.

If Cally's back in 14-days, he would in fact miss 7-games. Right now Pyatt moves up to the 2nd line, Rupp up to the 3rd line with Bickel skating as a winger on the 4th line.

Well, that is not too bad. Hopefully it's 10 rather than 14.

    Pheww...

Could have sworn that was at least a 1 month injury for sure.

Chris Kreider must be improving to the point where the Rangers expect him back in a couple games because you'd think they would have called up Segal. He's probalby the only RW ready for NHL action right now on the Whale. Of course Kreider isn't a RW either, so Torts must like Bickel over Segal!

The LW/RW deal is a bit overplayed. Last week guys were saying we did not have enough LW's. Cally/Nash/Gabs/Kreider have all played both wings. The team is full of left handed shots so there are plenty of guys that grew up playing the left side. The forwards do not skate their lanes after crossing over the red line anyway. They go all over the ice.

I really hope Kreider plays a regular shift when he gets back. I'd really like to see our skill players encouraged especially the young guys who need some encouragement.
