I don't know if Afflalo is playing but it looks better with hiim in it. Magic play a ton of pick and roll with Nelson and Reddick who has turned himself into a really good all around player. Their center who they got in the Howeard trade been terrific.

Regardless their should be no excuses the Knicks should win this game going away.

I never sleep on Orlando. They're one of those teams that can sneak in a big win here and there. We're obviously favored though.

    Easy there...lol

Nelson has been flat out better than Felton this year, Reddick & Afflalo have been better than any 2 guard we have... and Glen Davis would probably start for us. Not to mention Vucevic is one of the better young centers.

i wish they would move shump back to the 2 guard, he's not strong enough to defend these wing players it's making him look like a bad defender

but this should be an easy win

I really haven't been impressed with Shumps D at all TBH.

I think he can and has made some great defensive plays last year, but overall I think we overrate him ALOT as a defender. He still has alot to learn, he's not at an Avery Bradley level.

I mean Amare usually makes 1 or 2 great defensive plays per game, but overall he's not a good defender.

Last year Shump was a top 3 wing defender. We haven't seen the same Shump this year. He had some ridiculous stat last year in 1 on 1 isolation situations, he would come up with a steal 1/3 of the time defensively. Bradley is probably the best in the league, I'd give him the nod over Tony Allen. I think Tony Allen gets overrated defensively at times.

Amare also has 3-4 big time defensive miscues that usually result in wide open layups to go with those huge plays.

I don't think anyone can deny last year he was a ridiculous perimeter defender. I think we need to cut him some slack considering hes been back 5 games after a 8 month injury. Look at Rubio after his injury. He looks like a scrub now. It took Amare 4-5 games to find a groove and hew as out 8 weeks, not 8 months.

Either way, with all the screens that get set in this league, its very difficult to be a shutdown defender, especially at the guard position. You can't shut someone down when your constantly being screened.
The value of elite scoring ability, by Phil Jackson:

"This is a guy, we recognize his talent, and his skill is the kind of skill and talent that gets you through playoff games where things get sticky, grind-out, and basketball becomes a force game and suddenly you need to have a player who has the capabilities of scoring with someone hanging on them in a situation thatís critical. Heís one of those players, one of the few players who can do that.Ē

I'll be at this game, I don't expect a breeze thru, especially after they got embarassed by BK. I think we win by 7-10 and they keep it close the entire way. Orlando plays tough and has played very well against some top teams.
