nobody even cares about the flyweights.. what makes even smaller guys exciting? Say you put the 115 lb'er in with say some 180 lb guy that works in a office, that would be way more entertaining.

When I was watching the Johnson Vs. Dodson fight on Saturday, I was thinking to myself who else is in that division besides Johnson, Dodson, McCall, Jussier Da Silva and Benavidez? They also should round out the Women's divison before they add a new division.

I was really entertained by that fight though. Really fast paced and a lot of action. I do agree though, go out and get another Women's division first.

Guys you will hardly see these fights if at all, I'm not sure what the big deal is.

I'm biased because I'm tiny myself (not that small), but the little guys should get their shot. There are many places in the world where 5'2 is considered average height, why shouldn't those fighters have a chance? You'll probably have to search the internet just to watch these fights so I'm really not sure why you care.

Honestly because it could water down the content of the events. They have a 125-pound division that only has about 10 fighters. If they can barely have anybody at that weight what do you expect at 115?

It bothers me because for years Dana White said now to a 195 or cruiserweight division because it would make the surrounding divisions too thin and water down the talent. Well they have no problem with those issues at the smaller weight classes.

They only reason they are doing it now is so they can market more championship fights which they are obligated to so many per their contract with Fox.

I don't agree with the UFC adding the Strawweight division but it makes sense from a marketing standpoint. I doubt we'll see that division featured anytime soon; it's definitely attractive to certain markets which I'm sure is why it's announced before the weight class is rounded out.

Give me a 195 and a 225 Dana..people pay for knockouts...not 115 lbers fighting. There's nothing intimidating about that and it will kill your sport.

What market are talking about? Because 95% of the fighters at 115 or smaller are either Asian or Female. And if Asia is such a great market then why does nearly every Asian fight promotion go out of business?
