Allen Iverson turns down D-Leagye offer

Allen Iverson: @alleniverson I thank Donnie and Dallas for the consideration and while I think the D-League is a great opportunity, it is not the route for me. I realize my actions contributed to my early departure from the NBA, should God provide me another opportunity I will give it my all. ... My dream has always been to complete my legacy in the NBA. To my fans, I love yall! Not a day goes by that I am not asked when am I coming back, we all must accept that my return is not up to just me.

Should Iverson went to the D-League?

    Or

    He Deserve better than that?

He should of went. If he proved he could still play, I think a couple of teams would have looked at signing him imo.

What a scrub... given an opportunity to polish his game and quite possibly be called up in as little as two weeks after playing 5-8 D-league games, and turns it down.

He should flip burgers with Royce White, should he go all mental again once he gets another paycheck for reporting to the D-League.

I think there's more to it, I think he wants to make sure he goes to a title contender to win his ring.

I wish he would have taken it. The opportunity to get back into game shape and show people that he's still got it would have been perfect...

I like AI, he should have taken the offer, would have been a good opportunity route to return to the NBA.

Though he's a punk, I was always rooting for him to get his act together and hopefully get back on an NBA team as a 6th man. No way that's happening now. This is a red flag for any NBA team that would have even the smallest interest in signing him.

Dammit AI swallow your pride and get your *** back in The NBA! You still have fans who want to see you play.

I highly doubt iverson wrote that himself, based on the fact that I was able to read and understand it.

Damn, I love Iverson. But this dude is so poorly self managed.
He really wants to ONLY play at the NBA level. He should have went for a couple weeks, shown that he could so something and then a NBA team might have given him a couple 10 days. Tickets sales go up, the contracts become guaranteed.
