Early Mocks and my Mocks draft for this season and yours?

Ok so Most sites have it like this for the 1st round and I. Sorry this is off memory but bleacher report out them together from nfl , CBS a few others and there own and ill ad my own after .

OT -Eric Fisher - lacks upper and lower strength yet should go to the chargers at 11 in most drafts

TE - Zach Eifert - Need TE - assume Bennett leaves grab best TE ..I disagree since we haven't d
Grabbed a #1 since shockey , there's a good market in both the draft and f/a for TEs but he's a solid talent. Not my fav .TE either I. This draft

Multiple sites - early on (before senior bowl). And some after senior bowl (changed picks) DE- Ezekiel "EZ" Ansah - compared to JPP..again disagree but is an amazing and raw talented walk on DE and should be a 1st rounder (some have him to us in the 2nd!) .

DE- Alex Okafor - another solid DE obviously they have good reason to assume we grab a De due to osi leaving and some even noticed tucks decline a c me tiom his contract as we're all aware of .

CB-XAVIER RHODES -love it he maybe 6ft2 or down to 6 idc he's amazingly talented ..banks goes 2nd for CBS in these mocks usually to Tb . Some have X Rhodes in the second round close to us or to us.

OLB- Alec Ogletree - stating how Jesse armstead was our last great lb we drafted ect ect and how good AO is fitting need and bpa.

ILB- Kevin Minter - need at ILB most mocks have him going from a few picks near us to the mid 2nd . Fits need and bpa in this assumption but I think there's better talent though I feel I am overlooking him I just don't see the 1st round grade .

PRAY FOR THIS ONE - OT Lane Johnson ..look him up try cbssports.com prospects (google that lol). This guy sounds like everything you want in a 10 year player at OT. Big contract I. Future but w/e ...this probably won't happen same with Eric though I don't like him anyway (I'm not great with oline judgement but even I know LJ is beastly ..had it pointed out by our very own Cowboyskilla idk how I missed this dude ..he says he's like the same idea of JPP at OT though like talent wise ..he's right except not as raw , dude is amazing at things OTs don't need to be amazing at like athleticism similar to joe staley if not better ..that's slow TE-ish lol ).


Some with us getting the big 6ft2 CB whose grown on me in Jonathan Banks (saw him listed at 6ft3 and 6ft1 as well heard 6ft2 the most...). He's a physical CB well worth a 1st and fits our team perfectly .

Others - dion Jordan DE , Tyler Eifert TE, John.Jenkins DT , DJ Fluker OT (huge reach site even rated it as a reach but a must ) , Mati Teo ILB and S Floyd DT also think I saw one where we get Sheldon Richardson DT which I know some ppl here love him so maybe that's a good pick.

So basically no one seems to have any clue what we'll do but it has to do with either major impacts like TEs to fill holes and BPA while others think we need a pass rusher or a signal caller on D and the rest just differ in their opinions of how good others are (EZ and X Rhodes going to the mid 2nd , Jenkins in the 1st ,whose the best De (dion , Okafor , EZ ) best LB (Teo,Ogletree and minter) .

Only 2 had a weird draft where a great OT like Lane Johnson can fall to us where that's a must we cannot pass on him and that's what the mock even said regardless of need we'd take him so Beatty or not .

And 2 disagree whose the CB left and worth the 2nd CB picked ( some don't have TB taking a CB in the 1st and some have us getting trufant in the second)

So as we all knew , OT ,Pure skill ,Bpa , Any D player are probably our picks . Those are the names assumed. So maybe we even consider trading back maybe get multi picks? ( E.z falls to us a team like the jags need him we get and early 2nd and ? Plus our 2nd and something next year we could still kill this draft. ).

Sites I've looked at you can google New York giants mock drafts 2013 , I used bleacher report they had a lost , CBS sports had 2 guys drafts , nfl.com , espn.com(forgot the other DE they (Mel ) said Sam Montgomery), walterfootball.com , Drafttek.com , pretty much a lot of googling.
SI , SBNATION and bleacher reports two mocks (full 7 that was unpleasant but showed some New names and can't miss prospect giants must take or so etching to that tune along with 1st round mock. )

Off what I feel ,read. Ect. ill also add this , we seem to assume T2 ,Cruz and a safety if not both should be back but some say KP can just go bc injuries/lack of plays ect , so this is based on him LEAVING
-,tuck LEAVING/becoming a slower osi for us until he retires at best(never was like osi and his career is a disappointment to me strahan said he (tuck) was better than him damnit lol) .

-No trades would love to see us move for lane or Jenkins but we won't and would love to move back but idk how/who/ect so well keep it easy it's tough enough lol .

Kiwi would be our De like osi was by majority vote possibly a starter by the end but that rotating "backup" DE we have and maybe occasional Sam LB like we started to do way back.

The rest I'm going with my gut and everything I've read ignoring any F/as we should sign if we had cap room (CB Sean smith , OT jake long and our guys plus some safeties) .

Also sadly will assume (fairly) Jenkins Olb first olb taken gone early with Ogletree gone by our pick as well and lane Johnson and Banks(CB) MLB Teo and even chase warmack could of been a pick of ours is some mocks as well OG. Ok said a mouthful I'm truly sorry if I lost anyone but I wanted to make it clear why we wouldn't take say LJ at OT.

1st let's identify three things ,
1-how we draft ,

2-what our needs are

3-and of course what the draft offers
Afterall if we needed a QB and there was literally no fas and only 1 QB in the draft we'd want him regardless of talent ..(never would happen but hopefully you understand what I mean) and that would obviously be the mock QB round 1 .

-So we know we draft 1st round BPA mixed with minor need and the we continue that but we make need bigger and bigger and then towards the end BPA or special teamers (6th-7th).

*Side note no trade so even though after looking if certain guys dnt fall to us I feel we should fall back I won't mock that .*

The draft seems deep in supposed mid round steals and at most our need positions .

So if you need an OT you either get one early in the. 1st I think we just miss lane Johnson you wait until ,ay be the third if there's not a huge run from you 1st and 2nd pick .

OGs- couple spread threw gotta either reach or get lucky .

WRS-until 3rd but there's studs in the 1st .around 11 good wrs but some are projects with the ability to grow while playing instead of earning a spot completely set.

TES- are all projects after basically Jordan reed getting drafted ..if he goes after Zach and Tyler .

DBS- feel like you could fill a round just with CBS lol but teams needs will determine how long you can wait for a quality CBs there around a min of 10 solid non project prospects you could draft and have an impact .

RBS- every year it's all rounds so ..whatever min 10 prospects.

ILBS- there's Teo , Minter and projects who could be beasts who project to be this and that ...yeah, or they're listed at olb due to height 6ft1 guys like Arthur brown who fit better at weak side olb .

OLB- tons more weak side maybe some DEs and mixed position guys but that's not what you want early for strong side ...tons of prospects with major talent though.

Safety's - 2 early I believe over rated. 1 riser 1 iffy prospect in the second all gone by the 4th .the rest are projects or complete thefts .

DES - tons of talent from first to maybe 3rd the its projects up to around 12 easily 8 .

DTS- some studs early but by 3rd round you're getting projects ..up to 12 easily 7 .

Specialists , kickers ,punters and qbs I left out they're there lol .

Yeah I'm trying to go threw the thought process evaluation and actual mock ..feel free to post your own anyone can say 1st BPA 2nd BPA that isn't the same position as round 1 round 3 BPA 4 BPA... Tell me more..

I want to put some prospects out there that's feel our team should and would look at without trades ( really feel we should trade back if 1 of 3 guys isn't there may e 4 ...Lane the OT , EZ the DE , XR or Banks the CBs and DT Richardson .

Next there's guys we should absolutely no matter what pick them if they fall to us (maybe even near us like leaping the cowboys though I think we should move back this year if LJs not there).

..steals/sleepers/perfect need a BPA match whatever ...

Round 1 - obviously Jarvis would be a miracle , Ogletrees our 3rd best option. EZ and Okarfor tie at 4 but the best option besides or maybe even with Jarvis(idk ) would be. OT Lane Johnson , absolute must pick . If say all except the Des are gone a d kiwis a DE we should fall back for more picks honestly .

The CBS can wait as well with sooo many of them for at least 3 rounds we could land DESMOND TRUFANT Ty the honey badger , maybe steal Rhodes , Amerson ,many others, BANKS , POYER , Logan Ryan , Leon McFadden , LATE ROUND SLEEPER 4.4 40 at 6ft3 Melvin White , Sheldon price , sanders comings could be a late pick due to off field arrest but great talent ,

2nd round - must pick olbs/ilbs Brown(some claim he's an Ilb and his prospect rating is 90 ATM) , Green ,ILB Kevin Minter (could be our first but he's 6ft1 at MLB that sort of bugs me when we need run support/D Improvement . Also EZ and or Okafor may fall here same with Rhodes ..you take one of them first.

3rd round musts- if they're here David amerson the tall CB , Jordan Reed TE seemingly beast future but I feel we'd ruin his potential but he's still be great so f it lol . TJ McDonald safety (he helps defensively on special teams and is a hardddd hitter good safety compared to a faster b pollard...and 6ft3 lol) OLB Porter similar to boley weatherspoon types .

4th round steals - RB Lattimore ,RB gio Bernard , honey badger CB , olb z Gooden , nico johnsn Ilb ,sio moore(olb).walter Stewart olb/Ilb 6ft5inches .

5th round - Any big olb/Ilb skov, Brandon Jenkins , chase Thomas , Nathan Williams , Kevin Reddick, Trevardo Williams (interesting olb blitzed) , sio Moore (olb),Tate Ilb,Collins de Cornelius Washington

6th round -KR pr guys like ace sanders .

Based mostly off nfl.com scouts prospect grades ...

1st pick -DT Floyd he played DE at 303 lbs he's huge and can stuff the run with his huge body and can get pressure up the middle helping our Dline , DT rotation , DEs stay at De with kiwi back there tuck healthy well be better .
HOPEFUL PICK OT LJ.or OLB Ogletree Hopefully we get One of these guys it would change our team and the draft big time .

2nd pick -probably end up just missing any top players that fell like EZ so we grab the next best value a 1st round talent with blood line in the NFL in Desmond Trufant CB .

3 round pick - if reed can fall then we let him other wise we pick TE J Reed . Alt pick would be Sean Porter OLB

4th again either reed or an OLB like Zach Gooden . If reed is missed completely we grab safety TJ McDonald

5th - whatever the BPA at safety is left - really would like TJ McDonald and grab a CB like honey badger or McFadden anyway Pick Lester , O. Johnson or one of the taller safeties . Or Trevardo Williams .

6th- either some DE or OT depth or sio Moore at olb .

7th ace Saunders WR KR pr specialist maybe not him directly but that position just wanted to put a name to it .

Who I'd pick would get me TJ McDonald at safety , reed at TE , Rhodes or Banks or Amerson or Trufant (whoever is left in 1st at top of the board) at CB , OLB

Don't read ? Dude idk why it's a problem I over typed / over thought maybe but I was trying to get a simple giants mock draft but if u don't wanna so it then don't if u do then do if u wanna talk ish go ahead waste ur time I did this while playing madden for $ lol .
