no doug collins need to run drills in practice called finishing through contact even if he has to use the BAGS. Its not about getting on them its aboit collins being a better coach. Idk why people say hes a excellent coach he is not. Dude needs to go. Id rather have stan van gundy

lol see the post under yours!

Doug collins is a good little starter coach. He is not a next level coach, as dougs rate our young talent wont max out untill there 30. okay great hes installed some good teacher values but now its time to unleash the guys, make em bang in practice, make em hit the bags in the air trying to finish. Id imagine all we do in practice is shoot contested jumpers just like the real game which is why it happebs damn bear every time. Dougs not coaching basketball, hes coaching select fundamentals. Were pass that. We need to go to the next level. Attack the rim in practice against contact and youll see a sixer team that gets 15-20 points from the li gb e a night. Theyll be used to getting banged in the air abd finishing.

Give me stan vN gundy over doug

Just the best center on the planet

Theres really nothing svg would do with this roster better than collins.... Hes not gonna get hawes and lavoy to play inside 12 feet. Hes not gonna get jrue and turner to attack the rim...

    Haha, seriously. This.

EvanTurner is a secret scout who's intensely studied practices of Doug Collins and Stan Van Gundy.

Belichek is a Sixers fan? Awesome!
DO NOT TRUST YOUR PETS TO NEMACOLIN WOODLANDS KENNEL

On 7/20/14 we took our Calla and Pebble for a stay while on vacation. On 7/21 Calla, who is diabetic, was given 10x her insulin dosage. She wasn't found until 12 hours after being overdosed. After a week and a half of suffering we made the tough decision to put her down because of brain damage and a lack of a quality of life. She was only 7 and her breed lives until their 20's. Over half of our beloved Calla's life was stolen from us.

The Sixers are soft....Bring in Kenyon Martin...maybe he'll bring some attitude to this squad...at least until Bynum comes back (if at all!)

i don't think soft is the right word, so much as they're just young. in the NBA, and especially in the NBA playoffs, youth puts you at a disadvantage. as great as lebron is, he didn't win a championship until he was 27. the same can be said about michael jordan. and the same thing seems to be occurring with kevin durant as well. even for the best players in the world, it takes time to get to that level.

jrue is 22. ET, thad, spencer hawes, they're 24. those are the 4 sixers who have played the most minutes this season. at some point, you should add a 25 year old andrew bynum. now, thaddeus young has played 30 games in the playoffs. jrue, ET, and spence have each played 18. bynum has played 74, but he's only really been a foundational player for ~22 of them. they are just beginning to get their legs under them, and i just have a feeling that they are headed in the right direction. they may not necessarily be on the right track, but their momentum is going the right way.

This team is soft its sickening. When we released Brand it hurt the team from a toughness standpoint. WIth trading Iggy this team let its future star players get better. Jrue and ET have showed vast improvement this season. But they really thought that Bynum would be playing. However, i had my money on Lavoy stepping up. And he hasn't. Thad to me is just a bench player whom is starting.
