RotoworldJeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports reports that some of the players linked to the anti-aging clinic in Miami could be subject to a 50-game suspension.
Alex Rodriguez, Melky Cabrera, Bartolo Colon, Yasmani Grandal, Gio Gonzalez and Nelson Cruz were all named Tuesday in an explosive report by the Miami New Times.
The joint drug agreement allows for players to be suspended for just cause, so records of purchasing PEDs could put them at risk, but MLB figures to conduct a lengthy investigation before any decisions are rendered. Of course, the players would also have the right to appeal any decision.

I'd like to say I'm shocked. The only thing that shocks me now is the fact that it hasn't been covered up better. I'd like to believe it's an old account, but A-Rod's was paid through April of 2012. Doesn't sound too old to me.
Pure speculation on bob. I could throw out there king Felix and I got a %50 chance of being right.

Olney says it may spell the end for A-Rod's career.
Hurry up and sign Hamilton and Greinke with the cash we'll save!!!! Oh, wait... maybe next year.
The other question is does this even matter? If the Yankees can "activate" him for 50 games during the season then he will serve his suspension during the time he is injured. Not sure this is even possible, but we'll see I guess.
How great would it be if there was a clause in A-Rod's contract that they could release him if he is caught using PED's DURING the contract though? I just creamed a little bit.
Derek Jeter is a lucky man.
