I agree with whoever suggested gooner should be the Director of R&D. The thought of measuring volatility has occurred to me, but there's no chance I would have ever been able to articulate it, let alone tinker with the idea of creating a model for it. Hopefully the Cubs are way ahead of us there, because that can certainly come in handy when mulling over a long term offer for a guy like Michael Bourn.
