Pretty sure Kansas City is south west in relation to Long Island. It's not like you can head directly west on a straight path and reach KC. So you have to go down (south) at some point to get there. That is like correcting someone when they say "I'm going down to Tampa" when they live in NYC. Tampa is also south west of NYC.

OK, I'm gonna bring the off topic, off topic.

My dad is a Dodger's fan. His 60th is coming up. He's mentioned before that he'd like an autographed bat. Of the semi local shops (Within a 3 hours drive) I've called, I've found a mix of most of the current roster, as long as Gibson, Mattingly, and Snider. Obviously my first thought was Mattingly as I know my dad likes him, and obviously I'm a fan as well. But the autograph is pretty small for a bat, so therefore a lousy display IMHO. Anyone on the current roster whom is cooler than Kirk or Duke? One's a HOFer and the other had a pretty big hit for the Dodgers once upon a time. I'm just looking for some opinions as I really have no idea.

I'd definitely go old school as that will mean more to him. Find out who's glove he had when he was a kid. Then go find something signed by such player. I did the same. Loved it.
