coin flip to be honest. I saw him a bit down in Providence and he played well but I'm not sure how he stacks up vs. the big boys.

I gotta say with his play so far this season it's tough not to go a bit over the top on Dougie but in the back of my head I know I have to reel expectations in. At the peak you think WOW imagine if he won ROY and the Norris :excited: but reeling it back in there is some very stiff competition for ROY and to even sniff a Norris he needs to outplay Chara as a rookie (good luck).

I'm really excited about Dougie and wanted to share these few thought on the board

I know what you mean. He just looks exponentially better every game. I would say he was one if the best players on the ice the other night vs nyi and he seems to make it look easy. At the same time it's soooooooo early.

I think once he pops the cherry he'll score in bunches. I have noticed that he's gone back to something he did his rookie year and that's fire wristers from the blueline. The goalie can see the thing coming in all day, Seguin needs to take the puck deeper and try to make something happen.

Great first period, my thoughts:

Dobby looked solid, the goal is a "what are you gonna do?" type goal, redirects are so hard to stop.

Marchand, great one timer....even better look by Chara

Looch!!! love seeing him fight, a good bout also. Gleason is a tough dude.

The Pevs-Kelly-Bourque line needs to start getting some O-pressure. IDK what it is so far but they haven't been too hot.

4th line didn't play much.

finally a PP goal, hopefully they can score a couple against CAR, seeing they are mediocre at PKs.

So far he's looked real good, and i know it was one game but against OTT, he looked really good too. and with Minny, he had good numbers in limited playing time there. obviously we need more of a sample size.
