I was hoping that he was going to lessen the pick he had taken away from a 2nd to a 4th or something...guess he's gotta flex some kind of muscle after the players clipped his nuts.

    What a ****

Goodell is a power hungry *** and was made to look bad over this ordeal. I say he took it personal and is flexing his power. He better watch the game from his hotel room no one in NO is going to have any love for him .

RBs are invaluable. People now know they can find one in free agency/draft/UDFA. I don't think anyone will us a 2nd for Chris Ivory
    New Orleans Saints
    LA Kings
    Cleveland Cavs
    NY Mets
    Duke Blue Devils

Judging by Walter's chart (http://walterfootball.com/draftchart.php), your proposed trade with Cincy would be:

    Saints 1st: 1,050 points

    Bengals 1st: 800
    Bengals 2nd: 530

That means Ivory would be worth 280 points. That's a late 2nd round pick. I don't know if anyone values Ivory that highly. The Bengals would have to have a hard on for a player that slipped to #15.

Even if Akay read this whole thread (and he probably did), all you said was 1st+Ivory. All I've seen you post is the potential Bengals trade and given the parameters of what you proposed, I'm having doubts of the Bengals' GM will go for it.

My bad, I don't know what came over me, my bad......bcuz numbers never lie and that Walter Chart is GOD! And lets not forget that Cincy's 'two 2nd RDers' doesn't give us [B]options [\B]at the negotiation table bcuz [B]I[\B](meaning 'you' as a fan) doesn't see it happening! After all, we the fans actually knows exactly what goes on in the War-Room.

I tend to agree. Thats not a reasonable trade for Cincy. Would I LOVE to get that trade from them? Of course, it'd be awesome. But, I'd be REALLY surprised if they took that deal. Seems a lot more likely if we got their 2nd pick in Round 2 (55th overall) instead of #37

I don't see Cincy making that trade. I wouldn't make that trade if it was the other way around. Im a huge Ivory fan but I don't see 2nd rd value in him. You could probably get a guy like Ben Tate from Houston for much less.

Houston wouldn't trade Ben Tate, but your point is valid

That's the legit trade value chart that some teams use. It's not a chart the guys at Walter came up with. Not all teams still use that scoring system, though.
