People like Mike James could get full yr contracts, AI can bring something. He can shoot and draw money. sucks he went to Memphis and it recked his career.

    Here come the Iverson bashers.

The fact is, for the past couple years of Iverson's fall from stardom, I think he could have been a legitimate contributor to a team's winnings.
He can still score a bit and sell tickets.
3rd string PG at least... damn.

AI needs to give it a rest and realize that his career is over. He's just not a player that really helps anymore. If a team wants a ball stopper he wouldn't be the first choice. He may sell some tickets but that's about it.

Apparently they've been trying to get him all season, and the article (on PSD main page) also states that Iverson has turned down multiple lucrative offers from China. That means two things: 1.) He's not as hard-pressed for money as everyone makes him out to be, and 2.) His ego is preventing him from playing at all. He shouldn't have to play in China or the D-League, so I understand where he's coming from, but that's really seemingly his only road back in.

I hope he comes back. I enjoy watching him play...

It's interesting how the NBA is as far as the teams are concerned? Somewhat of a copy cat league in a way? One GM says they don't want the guy because of his past and all the other teams follow.

This guy can help any team even at his age now. Every team could use a mid-range shooter and that is exactly what he would be. Use him for 15 minutes a game and give some scoring off the bench.
