I am pretty excited about this card. A really nice card on paper that should sell very well.

Anyways I'm going with Jose Aldo to beat Frankie, he's just too athletic, too quick. Frankie's only chance will be if the fight goes into the later rounds and Aldo gasses out, which we've seen before against Hominick. That's the only way Frankie's winning this fight. But I like Aldo to dominate and stop him in two rounds.

Overeem seems very confident about this fight, and he should be cause I can't see how Big Foot is going to give him any problems. Big Foot is just too slow and I expect a first round stoppage.

Rashad vs. Lil Nog: Kind of a tune up fight for Rashad. Unless he gets sloppy, I can't see how he would lose this fight.

Fitch vs. Maia: Probably the most competitive fight. I'll take Fitch for now.

Benavidez vs. McCall: Benavidez should win this fight easily...

The undercard is brutal... I could care less about it lol.

It is an amazing main card. But I don't think that it will sell well.

This event will sell terribly, no doubt about it. People seem to only pay the money for cards that have main events with the titles from 170 lbs and above.

I'll be getting it though and I can't wait. I think Frankie Edgar has a legitimate chance here.

I have to root for Frankie. He has made a big fan out of me in his last 6 fights.
I'm always happy to discuss anything from hoops, to hockey, to reality TV with anyone that is polite no matter what their opinion. With that said if you are disrespectful poster please do not expect a reply.

The Main card on paper is really, really good. The undercard doesn't have too many names and has 2 fighters Woodley and Volkmann who have had boring fights in the past. Especially Woodley, but Volkmann makes no excuses for using his wrestling. Those fights could have an effect on the PPV.

How much of an impact, if any, will Overeem have? It's been over a year since he beat Lesnar, do the casuals who watched that fight remember him?

There were a lot of promos on Fox. They even re-aired TUF on Fox on Saturday night. The UFC has to be happy about that. Even if it aired at midnight, that's still exposure.

The last few Fox cards have deliver (just look at the ratings), will the casual fan take a chance and buy a card that was advertised as having one one of the best P4P fighters in the world?

Frankie could have 20% of the people in NJ watching his fight.

If the card does 500 K, that would be considered a success. Especially since the UFC is billing the main event as a 'super fight' (which it is), and they put on Rashad who has had success as a PPV attraction, plus Overeem who is a polarizing figure. I'm going to say it will do in the range of 450-550 K, which would be a success.

You guys think Fitch is gonna want to keep the fight standing in order to avoid Maia's jiu-jitsu?

Frankie has just got to work on checking kicks.. Because Frankie has somewhat of a problem doing so and Jose will have you on crutches for a week.. Frankie has just got to push the pace and bring it to Aldo and wear him down.. Mix it up and he can claim the belt.
