Bet: First time in 20 years, Lakers and Celtics will miss playoffs.

With Rondo out with the ACL injury and Phili getting Bynum back and only 2.5 games back of Boston for 8th, they could make a run at the spot. Boston's got pride, but they also have arthritis.

And the Lakers... Well, their not going to go on any 7,8.9 game win steaks any time soon.

This could be the first time since 1993 that both clubs go fishing early.

The Lakers have been getting raped all season long its about time they get a winning streak going. After all they have a 7 game road trip coming up where they will probably win 3 games at most if they play like this.

I still think they both make it.

UNLESS Boston does completely blow it up. They they try to hold serve this year they'll squeak in.

That's what Bos should do. Trade for Gortat and try to acquire Evans.

I love how you bet this idea when both teams are in the doghouse... Stop wasting everyone's time. And oh yea you will still be wrong ha.. Celts after their worst stretch of season still beat Heat today without Rondo. Sorry man you lose this bet.

Lakers will only win 3 games if they play like this? Wtf haha if they play like this they'll go 6-1 at worst

Love him or hate him, call him overrated, a punk, chump, and whatever blasphemy you people speak, fact of the matter is there is no denying he's the best of his generation and will go down as a top 5 player ever...what he has done for the NBA is amazing he's the biggest name in basketball all around the world and his chase for number 6 continues! All that matters though to us Laker fans is #17! Lakersnation! #16to17

Raptors recent stretch gives me more confidence than the Lakers recent stretch. Raptors have been very enjoyable to watch lately.

They both will make it, unless Boston closes shop...
