Putting all trading aside, this basically means the nets might come in 3rd seed in the playoffs, dominate the 1st round and get beat by the heat in the second unless something dramatic happens.
I am not sure I 100% get your comment. I do not think Rondo going down increases Brooklyn's chances of getting that 3rd spot. Boston wasn't putting it together at all and I know they could be a streaky team, but it is hard year after year to do that and they are not getting any younger. If they do get the 3rd spot and have to play the Heat in the 2nd round who are you projecting has the first spot?
