    With Rajon Rondo done for the season...does this team make the playoffs?

    Do the Celtics make the playoffs with Rondo out for the year? They are currently the 8th seed.

    I think they actually mike look to pull a trade to ship KG or Pierce...probably will wait a little while though before pulling a deal

    The C's will play inspired basketball and look good for the next 2 weeks leading up to the deadline. No trades made. We get the 7th/8th seed and lose 1st round.


    Worst scenario IMO but it's what is likely.

    I think they miss the playoffs, because they decide its time to finally rebuild and ship off Terry,Pierce and KG.

    There is no "good side" to this news, but perhaps this will make Danny Ainge's decision on what to do at the deadline a bit easier.

    Sounds great for the present, but for the long run I'd be disappointed... With Rondo and as a 7th/8th seed you never know what they could do... To know your gonna fight to get in then get smacked and end up probably just out of the lottery would stink...

    Bass for Calderon is an interesting idea(we'd have to include somebody else) but I am not sure Toronto wants to have a 7 million dollar mediocre player for another 2 years after this.

    If we trade Piere I'd want a good young player and I dont think Pau falls into that category.
