First let's ignore the fact that I was clearly joking. Second, I'm sorry I missed the part where it said his career was over? Is he crippled now? Did he suddenly lose the millions in his bank account? I don't watch sports actively rooting for injuries but when a team that I dislike loses one of its best players I don't have to miraculously turn into a saint and send my prayers to his family. It seems a little over the top if you ask me.
If they don't want to blow it up, they should absolutely go after Calderon.
I think Calderon replacing Rondo would lead to almost no drop in offensive production. I'm almost inclined to say he'd actually improve their offense.
