****. just shows the heart of this kid, has a torn ACL, doesn't say **** and does everything he can to play in today's game.

On the brightside, at least he won't be getting dealt soon.

This is the worst possible news this team could have.

Good luck Rondo in your recovery. I would never wish injury upon anyone, but this one really stings as he's my favorite current NBA player.

Hope he has a full and healthy recovery. Really ****ing sucks.

He growls as he storms the country,
    A villain big and bold.
And the trees all shake and quiver and quake,
As he robs them of their gold.

what a surprising development, before the game i hear he is out and thought it must be some nagging injury bothering him and not something this tough!

don't have the link but saw it on CSN:

Sean Grande just tweeted that Rondo told Cedric Maxwell during the last timeout of the game that "I will be back in two weeks"...

    The plot thickens...

It's pretty clear that its not a full tear, but if it doesn't require surgery is he back before the season is over?

A nice reminder why you shouldn't put your eggs all in one basket. Good work, Danny.

im not saying they are better without rondo because that would be plain old stupid , but they are 20-13 without him in the last 4 yrs so they can win and with much more depth we might find out this team could be tougher to defend without him on the court since the whole offense revolves around him. doubtful but possible

Even if it is just a partial tear, normally doctors will just go in and restructure the whole knee. Which in the end is the best thing for Rondo, yeah he misses the rest of this year, but would be back at the latest Christmas of next season. Hope to a quick recovery.
