    Lightbulb Rondo Tears ACL

    Celtics officials fear Rajon Rondo has torn the ACL in his right knee, according to David Baumann of Bright House Network Sports (Twitter link). Rondo is sitting out today's game against the Heat with what the team is calling a hyperextended right knee, as Chris Forsberg of ESPNBoston.com notes. Rondo, who hurt himself in Friday's loss to the Hawks, will undergo a precautionary MRI.

    Didn't he perform in warmups? I'm pretty sure he would feel a lot more pain with a torn ACL. Rose could barely get off the court.

    If Rondo does have a torn acl....

    Does Ainge blow it up? It would take at least one season for Rondo to get comfortable again (everyone can't pull off a comeback AP style lol).

    I guess it'd make sense to blow it up but I'd like to see how they play w/o Rondo. This team has showed that they won't lay down without Rondo ( Knicks game couple weeks ago and so far today)

    I know this is not much comfort but Rondo will probably be ready to start next season since he did this in late January...usually takes about 8 months minimum but usually more like 9 months....9 months is late October of this year. I know its a long ways away though.
