Gilbert sucked tonight. We need to trade for a physical defenseman.

It's important to keep in mind this blues team is very very good. That being said, it's always brutal blowing a 3-1 lead and taking so many damn penalties. Also I see a lot of complaining from other fans about Suter. He could really step up his game though

Parise is as good, or better than advertised, Suter leaves something to be desired.
Setoguchi is probably our best expendable trade chip right now to get something on defense.
or some prospects since we have an abundance

I was at the game last night. It was a tough loss but a pretty exciting game to be at (minus being in St Louis).
Watching Suter is so frustrating, it's like he skipped the years where they go over fundamentals. He doesn't move any bodies or tie anyone up in front of the net, he just stands there watching the play and screening the goalie.
I'm hoping for a 3+ goal win tonight, especially considering the fact that they didn't fly in until today.
We need a win here. Good to score first and then again. We seriously cant blow this lead at home against the freakin Blue Jackets

This team is taking so many unnecessary penalties and its costing them
Welcome to DUUUUUUVAAAAALLLLLLL
Penalties in the 3rd cost us the last game...will that be the case again tonight?

Sorry Killer got to pick on you here. This is the mind set that got us into the position we were in before Fletchr built our prospect pool up. We are the envy of the NHL with our prospects, its the key to the new post lockout 2004 NHL. Its what is leading us to seasons like this, AND remember both Parise and Suter said a HUGE part of their signing was the position we were in with our farm and prospects, Parise even said he had scouting reports printed of every player before Fletcher called him. Our prospects also make up almost all of our D and future D (Falk, Scandella, Prosser, Spurgeon, Brodin, Dumba the only two that are not is Suter and Gilbert).
Anyways rant off, good game, our first line is so fin good, we need to spark that PMB-Granlund-Seto line somehow.
they may have said that but i still dont think it played as big of a role as they may have wanted us to believe. i'm not saying destroy the farm but if you were able to get a top 6 type of guy under control for a couple years for a spec you wouldnt do that?
