    Definitely a smokescreen.

We have Pryor, why not give him a chance first instead of wasting a pick?

Considering how quiet Reggie kept his head coaching search, how quiet DA kept assistant coaching searches, etc... it seems unlikely that anyone has a feel for what the Raiders have as a draft plan.

But... if it is Geno Smith... well, so be it.

*ETA - Fish basically said the same thing, a page earlier.

This just doesnt make sense at all. I dont see Rm as the type to let this get out unless he wanted it. Its to early for this kind of crap anyways.

Yeah, those types of trades are only accepted in Madden...get real.

IMO I think RM is going to have the Raiders talk up a few guys to throw everyone off from what RM is going to do or pick in the Draft.

they are both very realistic trades..palmer is a better qb than what the jets have, or is available in draft. Revis is coming off of major injury. As far as eagles trade, pryor is the type of qb kelly likes, and eagles need lb help. As far as we go it gets us more draft picks, since we are in rebuilding mode.

No way we draft a QB that high in the first round. I don't care how smitten scouts are with him.

For now, nonsense. I have faith that McKenzie is smarter than that.

I like Geno Smith as a QB, but not @ #3. He seems to be very QB smart, and he is very accurate, a la "Bobby three sticks"....heard someone call RG3 that on ESPN radio a while back., just not as mobile. But that could help him last longer in the NFL. RG3 took a POUNDING this year by scrambling as much as he did. QB's need to be mobile enough to extend a play longer(a la Big Ben), and either get out of bounds, or throw the ball away(again, a la Big Ben). You don't have to be a 4.40 QB to be elusive.

RM goes out of his way to say he is not going to give away the teams plans.

This is no doubt just posturing.

GM's and Coaches never tip their hand and religiously feed bad information to get a competitive edge. This is true on injury reports, draft intentions, etc.
