Great game tonight. My wife's boss gave her season tickets to us (which are great seats, especially for being free). Although it was kind of hard to concentrate on the game while my wife is photo bombing random people and telling me things like "He doesn't look very linsane", "I want that bearded guys shoes! They're yellow on the bottom" and "How many of those cheerleaders do you think have HPV?".

Huge win last night. I wished I could have watched this one. The Rockets have somehow managed to make a schedule this season in which they only play when I'm hanging out with my girlfriend or a group of friends. On days when I'm just chilling at my apartment with nothing to do? Nothing. I think I've only watched maybe 15-20 Rockets games this season.

Anyways, with the Jazz and Blazers winning, the Rockets are still stuck in that 7-9 range, but the Warriors have been pretty mediocre as of late and Houston has a chance to gain some ground in the next week with games against Utah and Denver. They also get four games with Golden State over about a month and a half span in February-March. So they clearly have opportunities to improve on their playoff seed. But if they're serious about making the postseason this year, they have to start winning these games against playoff teams in the West.

We need to get quality wins vs Western Conference teams. Preferably playoff teams. That will prove how much ground we can cover in the 2nd half.
