In hindsight, was Shaq right about Lopez and Blake Griffin being better then Dwight?

Dwight has always had zero post moves, but he is a superior rebounder and defensive player. Still, do you think teams are scared to play the Lakers (or Magic back in the day) because Dwight Howard is clogging the lane? No way! He's always been overrated in my opinion. Plus, he is a liability down the stretch because he is so inept at the free throw line.

Howard is, and has always been, limited offensively. Nobody doubts that and I think most people would agree with Shaq that Lopez had a better offensive game (and Bynum as well). What makes Howard so valuable is his rebounding and defense. Now, the Lakers are playing poorly on the defensive end, but he's leading the league in rebounding this season (even if his numbers are slightly down) and he is among the blocks leaders.

The Lakers are playing poorly as a team, but Dwight's performance is still an all-star performance in the this league. He's still the best C in the league, though the margin is not as wide as it has been in the past. But yes, there are a great many of big men who have better offensive games than Dwight.

Howard not performing as he should is still averaging better numbers than Brook and Blake. Brook has no defense and can't rebound. Blake can't rebound and can't score without a pass. Shaq is stupid. He thought a team full of PG's can beat a well orchestrated team just due to the fact that PG's are quicker. What an idiot!

IDK if this has been brought up yet but Shaq repeatedly calls him Robin Lopez with someone (usually Jet) having to whisper "Brook" to him. Always find that funny.

BTW-Shaq's a great character and was great for the game but he's just brutal to watch, especially when he's always gotta talk himself up. Shaq, we know how great you were, no need for all that and you're killing the comedic aspect and general chemistry of a fantastic NBA program.
