I changed my mind to Mateo only because I know thats what the mob wants. My heart does say Kevin Plawecki will turn out to be a heck of an investment for us! Wait and see;-)

I gave my vote to Aderlin here. There is true value in a guy with his power.

I have to go with Mateo here.

But I wonder, how does a guy with a 2.45 ERA, over 6 innings per start, a 0.900 WHIP, more than 10 K/9 and a shade over 1.0 BB/9 have a losing record (4-5) in the NYPL? The Brooklyn bull pen must have really messed up his games or he got no run support.

Mateo is a good choice here. But I went with the under-rated Wilfredo Tovar. Tovar doesn't have huge upside, but he's very young still, and the combination of up the middle defense, and the skills to make good contact at the plate, makes me think he's still got a decent shot to wind up as a regular at some point. Reminds me of how Marco Scutaro was under-rated as a young player (and he was a lot older than Tovar).

If Cecchini is highly rated because he is a SS, then Tovar should get some love as well given the fact that he actually is a plus defender at that position. Maybe is a stretch, but he could be as good as Andrus out there and his bat maybe as good as a guy like Tejada.

The next vote will be very interesting, given the fact that after that you have no clear top 10 guy to pick.

Puello represents the best outfield prospect outside of Nimmo and assuming Flores isn't shifted to LF. Vaughn has a chance to be a solid starter some day...the other prospects in the system all look like fourth outfielders at best...Lagares...denDekker....Ceciliani....and Becerra its way too early to tell.

Which is sad. Doesn't make him our 12th best prospect.
