    It's going to be tougher than it was last year for them to make it. While they can, I will say they won't, too many variables against them.

    I think they fall back to earth. They won't be horrible, but they won't be as good as most of the teams in their division.

    Bullpens can be volatile from year to year. Also, i'd rather have a great rotation and a shaky bullpen than a shaky rotation and a great bullpen.

    Check the 2nd half of last season when it comes to run differential.

    And yes, it is unlikely that will happen, but the 1st half was the fluke if that's the word you want to use. Once Machado and McLouth got here our defense went from bottom of the league to one of the better ones, our pitching also improved a lot come 2nd half when Tillman and Gonzalez came up.

    If you gave me an over/under of, say, 85.5 Orioles wins next season, I'd say no easily. So no, they won't make the playoffs.
