5 Best Bruins in the Last 5 Years

Ok then, lets keep this going.

Tell me the 5 Best Bruins in the Last 5 Years:

    2007-2008
    2008-2009
    2009-2010
    2010-2011
    2011-2012

Lets have a rule of MINIMUM 10 regular season games played, unless you can make a good case for someone under that.

Chara,Thomas,Bergeron,Lucic,Krejci. honorable mention Sturm just on the fact that he scored a lot of clutch goals for the Bruins

^This, maybe swap at Krejci for Marchand

The Wheeler-Krejci-Ryder line was unreal their first year. Great stuff.

    07-08: Marc Savard

    Huge year for Savard.

    08-09: David Krejci

This is the year that Krejci broke out.

    09-10: Tuukka Rask

Tuukka won the starting job from a struggling Thomas.

    10-11: Tim Thomas

    Pretty obvious...

    11-12: Tyler Seguin

His break out year last year.

    07-08:
    Savard....ugh **** matt cooke

    08-09:
Savard and Krejci...too difficult to pick one, Savy had 88 points but Krejci broke out that year with 73

    09-10:
Tuukaa Time!!! he was filthy that year, would've won the Vezina imo if he had played more games.

    10-11:
    Looch scored 30.
TT, basically the reason we won the cup.

    11-12:
    Seguin went off.....

    Savard, Chara, Bergeron, Krejci, Kessel

    Hm: Wideman, Lucic, Seguin

If we're including goalies, I'd have to take Krejci and Kessel both out for Rask and Thomas

    07-08: Savvy

Hard to argue with over a point/game

08-09: Krejci (honorable mention to Ryder)

Krejci proved he was a star in the making

    09-10: Chara

Chara was a force to be reckoned with. Most time on ice for any positional player on the B's.

    10-11: Marchand/Thomas

Marchand: Proved he was a solid all around player and his 20g season the year before wasn't a fluke

Thomas: Not much needs to be said here

    11-12: Seguin

Guy was a beast last season

2007-2008: Chara. It was a down year for Savard, Thomas wasn't special and Chara played perhaps his greatest hockey.
2008-2009: Tie between Chara and Thomas. Both were utterly fantastic. Chara a bit less dominant but Thomas only played 54 games. Savard was pretty great also.
2009-2010 Chara. Down year for Thomas. Rask was great but not enough time, no great forwards
2010-2011 Tim Thomas-Its the year of Thomas. Chara was great also again and Lucic was pretty damn good also.
2011-2012 Zdeno Chara Thomas again a bit questionable. Seguin gets close but I'm still going Chara here.

You guys are underrating Chara so much.

During that 5 year stretch he was basically identical in terms of value with Lidstrom with being the best defenseman in the NHL by a good margin.

He didn't even really go up and down. He was pretty damn consistent during that entire period.
