I love it. Anyone who has a problem with a celebration like that is too sensitive and/or just hates Yakupov

When it's a big moment I love the celly. If people do it after scoring the 4th goal in a 4-0 game that isn't a personal achievement I hate it. Having said that Yakupov had every reason to celebrate. The hockey Gods were looking down last night.

I don't even see why it's a discussion to be honest

    Must be a Russian thing

But seriously though, as long as it's not over the top I'm fine with the little things.

well considering there are quite a few players who have said the celebration was over the top etc, i guess its an issue. in a way its like omarks spin move last year, it was no big deal but people were still hating on him

Yeah it's definitely worth talking about. Not sure where the others were getting at.

I agree. His teammates loved it. And the only players I've heard complain are the guys who were sore losers because they lost the game. It was a great goal and Yakupov is an exciting player. I love seeing Edmonton have the success they're having again.

Even Fleury said he was happy about it because he got a few hundred tweets from people that "remembered him after all these years" for his patented slide.
