2013 PSD SF Giants Fantasy Baseball

Since we're only a few weeks from Pitchers & Catchers reporting, plus I'm bored, lets start discussing this year's Fantasy Baseball League. Now is a good time, because only die-hard fans seem to be hanging around.

What would we like to see this season? How many teams? One League, or two? Do we want to use divisions? Stat Categories? We had a money league last year, did we want to do that again?

For now, I'll start a list of those that are interested, the list won't be official until all regulars have had a chance to check the thread.

    Who's on-board:

    Money

10-12 teams (if there are that many serious managers)

Fair, balanced categories with as little overlap as possible

    Plenty of DL/Bench spots

I don't want any of you guys to play...kidding.

I'm thinking we do 2 leagues, one for $ and one free.

I am up for the money league again, but I would prefer to keep it at 12 teams. As for categories, the only change I would like to make is going back to steals from net steals. I like net saves, but it's pretty lame to lose a steal when you have guys running on less than 2 out 3-2 counts frequently when they might not necessarily even be much of a stealing kind of player.

Also I would like to point out this post from Spliff last year about dead beat managers:

I'm in for a money league, I'll lose interest if its free. Only major change I'd have from last year would be to not include IP's
