I do love that show...but you're right. It's more about fixing broke down equipment than mining for gold.

The shows awesome but ive been waiting 3 years from them to make a decent profit and they havent.. They made like 8k each last year for 5months of work.. like wtf how is that even worth it? I make that much in a month how could 8k in 5 months be an american dream?

Guess dreams come in all shapes and sizes. And making probably 40k for being on the show helps, I'm sure.

Not to mention an entire off season of rinky dink appearances lining your pockets.

Yea I guess i didnt think about the money they get from the show and the appearances when i said that...
