Some might not think this thread worthy, it might not be viewed or replied to the most, but frankly I'm hurt that he's gone and dammit Martin deserves a thread.
So here's to a guy who, if Chipper was the heart of the Braves, Martin was the blood pumping thru the veins. A guy who never complained when or where he played. A guy who did all that was asked of him and then some without so much as a blink of hesitation, and thoughts of "whatever can make my team better."
Martin, may you have much success throughout your career. I pray we see you in a Braves uniform in the not too distant future. And everytime Martin steps in that batters box, be it in a Braves jersey or a visiting teams colors, I will gladly stand and cheer him as if nothing has changed. The league needs more Martin Prado's, and I'm glad the Braves had him for as long as we did.
