This kinda sucks..... I wanted a big name... Now I'll be forced back to my Lovie Smith pipe dream
GO METS; RAMS; ISLES; KNICKS; NOTRE DAME; UCONN!; AC Milan!
The One and Only "LEGATRON"
But our head coach and assistant coaches are all defensive guys so I can't say I ever expected a big name coordinator.Originally Posted by NDMets57:25256123

i just thought about since he is a pretty good d cordinator i know he did not do well in new orleans but he didnt have time to get his guys and he did take over a pretty bad defense. also the defensive players all liked playing for him and give him time can produce a super bowl winning d

CBS' Jason La Canfora reports the Rams "have met" with ex-Browns DC Dick Jauron regarding the same position in St. Louis.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported last week that the Rams were expecting to "reach out" to Jauron, and that appears to have happened already. Jauron is a 4-3 guy with a ton of experience. He's had coordinating stints with the Jaguars, Lions, and Browns, while being a head coach with the Bears and Bills. NFL.com's Ian Rapoport says coach Jeff Fisher could meet with five or six more candidates. None of those names are known, but Fisher has been known to take his time with these things
