Not very good.. His bat is nice, when we aquired him from Houston last year he started off on fire for us but then quickly cooled off.

Yeah, I hadn't read through the whole thread and didn't know they said that yet but I saw online earlier that they are already talking extension and probably 3-4 years.

Hopefully we can Resign Prado in the off-season. I love him. He's unselfish,talented and a hardworker. I just hope we haven't seen the last of him. Word was he was asking 11-12 mil for an extension. If BMac does walk(i hope not), then we could have the dollars to get prado back up here with Bethancourt taking over.

Hopefully Francisco wins the full time job. Johnson is Pastornickey-esque on defense. He has some boom, but not as much as francisco, and Juan's defense is better. Hopefully he can show up to ST a changed man.

I think if Francisco shows up to camp in shape and having worked hard this offseason, he'll win the job. I don't think either of those things will have happened, but one can hope.

IIRC, Beldugo had positive things to say about Francisco (good swing, in shape, etc) when he was playing in the DR.

Hold on, no one can blame Prado for wanting that extra $400K. If anything, the Braves front office/owners looked bad for making that decision since they almost never go to arbitration with anybody. It makes them look cheap more than it made MP look greedy. He could be making 10M+ right now on the open market even without the big market clubs bidding. I think most sensible folks in here are focused on Prado's flexibility and inexpensive price tag as why they it's tough to lose him, not the "he's a nice guy in the clubhouse" stuff.

Bingo. No doubt that Prado can easily be making 10+mil in the open market. Nobody on the club has earned that extra 400K more than Prado. I'm not saying this is a bad trade or anything, it's just reflecting back on what Prado has given us. One man that should never be booed.

Wren has done everything in his power to completely stack Fredi with a squad that can legitimately win a WS. If he can't get that squad to produce to their potential/talents (without any injuries or such interfering)..the man has to go. No more underachievers. Lets get this thing.
