sneaky TY drops it in the Hariston thread... though to be fair he probably thought the Trade/FA thread was the Dbacks and not the cubbies.

he would accept a deal to CLE that is huge news

Hey, I tried out an "around the MLB thread". It failed.

I too have trade rumor fatigue. Lies, damned lies, and trade rumors.

Not even sure who I would want from Cleveland.

I can't decide if I would prefer Bourn between the platoons or Sori to the left of them. The trade Sori and sign Bourn route probably sets us up better going forward, but that will leave us with very little power in the OF against RH pitchers. Really solid defense, though.

Going with the team theme, Elvis Araujo is a former TJS recipient.

Why would Cleveland be interested in Soriano?

Because they don't have a DH.

I would rather the Cubs keep Soriano. If they have any intentions of competing this year he would have to be on this team.

they don't. With all their talk about how shallow our overall depth in our mL system, etc...theres not a doubt in my mind that they'd love to have another 1-5 pick next year.

That's way too much for just Chisenhall.

Soriano (with a lot of his salary picked up) should be plenty for Chisenhall.
