Who knows? After seeing decent production from Kappler, Gerut, and others of the years, this could pay off.

I really liked him when he first came into the league. Can't hurt to have him for at least a depth option.

It sounds like Alex Gonzalez and Lyle Overbay may be options as well. Would be nice to see them both back for depth

I would really like to see both Gonzalez and Overbay signed. This team definitely needs depth especially with Hart out to start the year.
If I facepalmed any harder I would have cracked my own skull.

if they're truly ok with Gamel playing at firs base a bunch while hart is out I would be very happy with Jeff Baker being signed. The dude mashes lefties.
