Why does everyone insist on applying NBA trade rules to the NFL? Very odd posts.
go spend 5 minutes in the Seahawks forum and you'll see them talking about a pass rusher or every down OLB and a WR since Rice is often hurt. Braylon was cut because he sucked with them much like he did with the 49ers

Also nothing crazy about my trade. Revis gets traded for a few draft picks and the Jets use some combination of picks to acquire Flynn. It's not like I'm throwing Keith Van Horn and Jamaal Mashburn in the trade.

If the Jets could get Van Horn in a trade their back up SF position would be set.

What do the Jets need with a Small Forward?

    The Corner 3?

Pretty sure Van Horn has made more 3 pointers then Nick Folk.

Well he gets more opportunities than Folk.

You guys are crazy if you think we would give up von miller for revis haha. No way we trade a player of his talent for a player coming off surgery for a acl tear. Also there is no way in hell any team is going to give up the picks you guys are wanting for a injured player who wants that kind of money and no one knows if he will even be the same player coming off the injury. You guys are crazy.

Way to ignore half the people talking about it, but I feel other then a handful of people who want to dump him for a mid-rounder most people would rather keep Revis unless you can get a good package for him that would make it worth it. And for the best defensive player int he league thats going to be more even in this situation then for other players if they were in this position.

I think that if the Jets wanted a player included, Elvis Dumervil could be a possibility.

No we aren't. You can thank Adrian Peterson for that. Last year, no one would have given up a first for Adrian, but now they wish they would have given up 2 or 3.

We won't get 2 or 3 firsts because yes there are questions, but a first + a player or another high pick is not out of the question nor an elite player swap.

Because of AP, more teams will consider it and depending on how many want him, the price tag goes up.

I personally want us to keep him, but I know if we move him we will get something good.

Agreed, its not out of the realm of possibility, imagine if denver had revis this year instead of champ.....

I'm not sure if we are still talking Von Miller but if so that's crazy talk. Miller is either the best or 1b with watt in terms of best defensive player in the NFL. He is younger and plays a more impactful position. I doubt revis for miller would happen if revis had no injury this year.

Remember Von Miller wasnt able to get to the quarterback. The DBs got burned. Revis would have won that game for Denver.

    Agreed

Jacoby Jones nor Torrey Smith would have even gotten off the line and if they did, Revis would have had them pinned against the sideline where they would have had to make an incredible catch requiring an incredible throw like Manning to Manningham type stuff. But regardless, they would have immediately been tackled out of bounds and the offense would have been forced to work to get into the endzone. There would have been no freebies.

Any Jet fan who thinks they are getting Von Miller for Revis has lost their damn mind. While Revis is the better player, Miller is Younger, not going to be a free agent any time soon and not coming off an ACL tear. BTW When I say Revis is the better player its by a slight margin.

Dumervil, 1st and a 3rd is much more likely and even that is maybe a stretch.
