Granderson is better than anyone in the Braves outfield and has more power than any outfielder in the majors.
Ichiro is a 1st ballot HOF. He had a down year in Seattle but who wouldn't after all those years with a non-competitive team, terrible home ballpark to hit in, and awful lineup around him. He did great as soon as he was traded to the Yankees and I believe he'll be back to vintage Ichiro in 2013. If Ichiro plays like Ichiro then he's easily much better and more consistent than Justin Upton, BJ Upton, and Jason Heyward.
That's 2-0 advantage to the Yankees outfield. Then there is Brett Gardner, who is easily a better defensive outfielder than anyone in the Braves outfield. But he's no pushover with his bat either and can contribute a good deal. I'd say that all the Braves outfielders are better than Gardner, but it's still 2-1 Yankees.
It's not my problem if you're overvaluing the Braves outfield.
Ichiro isn't better than any of the Braves OF and Heyward is better than Granderson. Your logic is flawed.

The Cult of Gattis
Indisputably wrong.
1) Highly debatableIchiro is a 1st ballot HOF.
2) This is 2013 so it doesn't matter how good he used to be. He's a solid 4th OF at this point. Below average starting OF.
Heyward is a great defensive OF, statistically the best RF in baseball last year. There's no way in hell Gardner matches his UZR in CF next year, but you probably have no clue what UZR is given the amount of pure ******** you already typed today.
Correct. Your problem is that you're a homer who has very little clue about anything baseball related that you haven't seen on a tri-state area cereal box. It's not my problem if you're overvaluing the Braves outfield.

I don't believe they will be, and they wouldn't have been last year had they been together all year last year, or any other season thus far in baseball in their histories.
2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, etc. The three of them have not performed like a top 3 outfield yet. Maybe they will out perform their histories this year, and that could happen.
But a lot of the hype here goes with them because of their names. Two former top draft picks and Jason Heyward (who is actually the best of the bunch).
Incredibly wrong
First of all, no he doesn't have the most power of all outfielders in the majors, that's likely Stanton.
And Granderson would be one of the Braves worst outfielders. And the Braves outfield isn't as great as people are even claiming.
Just to compare him to Heyward last season
Heyward - .269/.335/.479 - .351 wOBA, 120 wRC+, 20 DRS, 6.6 fWAR
Granderson - .232/.319/.492 - .346 wOBA, 116 wRC+, -10 DRS, 2.6 fWAR
Granderson compares to the Braves worst outfielder (B.J. Upton the most).
Sure, but he is years away from playing like one.Ichiro is a 1st ballot HOF.
He is bad because he is a ground ball only hitter who is slowing down. He is the worst offensive outfield in baseball for the last two years. And it's not because of the lineup he has been in. It's because his skill set is deteroiating.
For Ichiro to be better than Heyward, he would have to play like it was 2004 again, and we all know that is not happening.
So you are quick to claim the advantage on an IF Ichiro plays like his career best season, and and based on a huge falsehood that Granderson is better than any of the Braves outfielders? That's 2-0 advantage to the Yankees outfield.
I love Gardner, but he isn't better than Justin Upton. Then there is Brett Gardner, who is easily a better defensive outfielder than anyone in the Braves outfield. But he's no pushover with his bat either and can contribute a good deal. I'd say that all the Braves outfielders are better than Gardner, but it's still 2-1 Yankees.
While I agree the Braves outfield has been grossly over-valued here. What you are doing to the Yankees outfield is way worse and way more exaggerated. It's not my problem if you're overvaluing the Braves outfield.
